My
Story

I’ve always believed that shops should be about more than just selling — they should be about community, creativity and giving people a chance to be seen.

After opening my pop-up shop on Towcester High Street and deciding to stay, I wanted to create an opportunity for other small businesses to experience the high street too — without the usual risk.

If you’re a small, independent brand looking to test a physical retail space, this might be for you.

The Space

The pop-up space sits within my shop on Towcester High Street, Northamptonshire, and is part of our cosy, considered interiors space.

  • Approx. 3 x 2 metres

  • Shelving provided

  • A blank canvas for you to style with your products

  • Fully staffed during opening hours

  • Integrated into the flow of the shop, not tucked away.

It’s a calm, welcoming environment that attracts customers who value quality, craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

The Kind of Brands I’m Looking For

I’m keen to work with brands that align naturally with Miller & Chalk - particularly those that are:

  • Handmade or small-batch

  • Rooted in natural materials

  • Thoughtful, timeless and well made

  • Pottery, ceramics, textiles, slow craft, homeware, artisan goods

This space is carefully curated so that each pop-up feels considered, cohesive and a natural fit within the shop.

How the Pop-Ups Work

  • Each pop-up runs for one month

  • You can request a preferred month (subject to availability)

  • This is a low-risk way to test the high street

  • No need to staff the space yourself - I’ll take care of that

  • You set up the space yourself

  • Ideal if you sell online or at markets and want to try retail

I know firsthand how daunting (and expensive) it can be to open a shop. This is my way of helping other small businesses take that step more gently.

Are you able to provide enough stock to cover a full month in-store?
