Our Shop Reopens on Saturday 14th February

I’m very excited to share that our shop will be reopening on Saturday 14th February in the heart of Towcester.

After a year of pop-ups and a busy run-up to Christmas, I made the decision (just before the festive break) to make the shop a permanent home for Miller & Chalk. Since then, the space has been slowly evolving behind the scenes, and I’m really looking forward to welcoming you back through the doors.

Where to Find the Shop

Our shop is located on Towcester High Street, just a short walk from local car parks.

If you’re visiting from Towcester or the surrounding villages, there are several convenient parking options nearby, including short-stay and long-stay car parks, on-street parking, and parking close to cafés and independent shops.

I’ll be sharing more details about opening hours and local parking on Instagram in the lead-up to reopening.

What You’ll Find in the Shop

We are a small interiors studio specialising in handmade soft furnishings and thoughtfully sourced pieces for the home.

In the shop, you’ll find:

  • Handmade cushions, designed and made in-house

  • Made-to-measure curtains, blinds, café curtains and window seats

  • Lampshades and lighting

  • Table linen and textiles

  • Antiques and vintage pieces

  • Carefully chosen home accessories

Cushions sit at the heart of what I do, each one is made with care, using beautiful fabrics chosen for their texture, colour and longevity. Whether you’re looking for a single statement piece or something subtle to elevate your home, I hope the shop feels like a calm and welcoming place to browse.

The Refurbishment

As with most renovation projects, the refurbishment has been a slower and more thoughtful process than I first imagined.

Because the building has so much character, I’ve been taking care to choose materials and finishes that feel in keeping with its age and history. Some elements of the space will continue to evolve after reopening, but for now the focus is on opening the doors and sharing the next chapter of Miller & Chalk.

I’ll be documenting the refurbishment as it unfolds, offering a glimpse behind the scenes of how the shop is coming together.

Made-to-Measure Appointments

Alongside ready-to-buy pieces, I also offer a made-to-measure service for curtains, blinds, café curtains and soft furnishings.

Appointments for made-to-measure consultations will be launching soon. These will be available in-store and by arrangement, allowing me to spend time understanding your space, fabrics and ideas in detail.

If you’d like to be the first to hear when appointments open, you can sign up to the newsletter or follow along on Instagram.

A New Chapter in Towcester

I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received from customers, neighbours and fellow independent businesses over the past year. Choosing to keep the shop has been a big decision, but one that feels very special.

If you’re in Towcester on Saturday 14th February, I’d love for you to pop in, say hello and see the space as it begins its next chapter.

I look forward to welcoming you soon.
